Burbank this week joined the growing list of cities that have banned the retail sale of pets, but built in a six-month grace period for existing pet stores.
 
 
A federal court Thursday rejected a motion by some Texas commercial dog breeders to block the state’s puppy mill law from going into effect.

I would like to see all animal "traficking," that is the selling of animals abolished until all the shelters have successfully adopted out all the rescues. And before breeders can begin anew, they must adhere strictly with enacted laws. Animal cruelty is out of control and puppy mills are a significant contributor.
